Kirk Holmes, President and CEO
Kirk Holmes has been in the consulting business for most of
the last 22 years, and has been a leader in the broadband data since its
infancy. After starting a cable industry consulting unit at SRA
International, he was recruited by his client, Comcast Cable, to become the
first Online GM for Comcast@Home. He
successfully launched and ran one of the nation's first cable modem markets
before leaving to start Holmes and Associates, Inc.
How successful was
Kirk Holmes as a General Manager responsible for building the business?
According to multiple market research reports written between 1996 and
1998, the verdict on cable modems was rendered in Baltimore along with
three or four other major markets launched by other pioneers at Comcast,
Time Warner, TCI, Media One, Cox, @Home, and RoadRunner.
